Eczema Skin Symptoms Showing Improvement…
Filed Under Eczema Treatment, Eczema Symptoms, Emu Oil for Eczema, Natural Eczema Treatment | Leave a Comment
Here is the latest snapshot of my eczema skin symptoms. This is a vast improvement compared to 1-2 months back. Still, my problems are not over yet. I still itch and my skin continue to show discolouration. My skin specialist said that it may take another 6 months for my skin to clear up.
I am off any topical medicated applications.
Constant moisturizing is key. I use the Aqueous Cream which I bought from London some months ago. I alternate this cream with
emu oil, which I will faithfully spend about 10 minutes massaging the oil in. My skin specialist had said that QV or Ego creams are just as good.
I’m getting a little lazy in drinking 2 litres of water every day. When I get so engrossed in what I do, I tend to forget about drinking. That is bad. Still, the regimen to drink 500ml in the morning before breakfast, 1000ml during the day and the last 500ml from evening to 2 hours before sleeping is something that I want to stick to.
I also continue to use sea salt bath for my legs and foot every 1-2 days. This is my favourite due to the heavenly feeling that I experience!

Just to sidetrack from the regular feature of my own experience, I just posted an article on emu oil for eczema for the benefit of those who wish to explore trying out this oil. There are recently a phlethora of products made from emu oil. These products are mainly to address skin and hair loss problems. In addition, emu oil is also now used as a base for cosmetics and natural skin care products.
Most of the benefits in emu oil lay in its properties. Emu oil contain 70 % unsaturated fatty acids, of which 20% is linoleic fatty acid, a proven skin nourishment. This makes emu oil for eczema effective as it provides the missing ingredients for good and healthy skin.
