Home Remedy For Itch
Filed Under Eczema Treatment | Leave a Comment
What can you do to alleviate your itch levels and not turn to your steroids every single time?
Well, for a home remedy for itch, you can try using ice.
Ice helps to numb your sore skin. This can do much to bring about relief. The coldness of ice contracts your veins, cutting down blood circulation to the area being treated. Once you remove the ice, your veins will start to dilate. Blood is then rushed to the area. The blood carries with it necessary nutrients that helps to your damaged skin tissues to heal.
Sounds too easy? It really helps. I used ice therapy when my itch levels were very intense during my last breakout. Instant relief!
This home remedy is also easy to do. Just wrap a piece of ice in a small thin towel and apply it onto the part that is itching.

Have you been drinking filtered water and lots of it? It is not sufficient to just drink water from the tap. The water may still contain harmful pollutants and minerals in them.
It is best to drink filtered water.
I’ve installed a filtered water system that is sold extensively here in Singapore and Malaysia. It is called Diamond Water. The salesperson who sold the filteration system to me showed me pictures of eczema patients who got pretty good results after religiously drinking filtered water for a couple of months.
I’m pretty sure that there would be similar systems sold in the United States and elsewhere. Investing in a filteration system for your water may be expensive but I think this is something that you would want to spend your money on.
Water is vital for life and for good clear skin. You need to drink at least 2 litres of water everyday to flush out toxins. Even more so if you have got eczema. You wouldn’t want to drink water that does not help you cleanse, would you?
