Is TCM effective for eczema cases?

I saw a TCM practitioner on 3 seperate occassions. The TCM practitioner prescribed me some herbal medicine to brew.  I faithfully followed the prescription but did not feel any significant changes.

I have only some success with a TCM product that I bought in Beijing for my eczema.  I was brought there by my then tour guide. Unfortunately, I could not locate the place anymore in my subsequent trips.

My girlfriend did tell me that her son’s eczema skin turned better with TCM.

Hydrocortisone cream for eczema

I had used hydrocorisone creams all my life.  After my recent traumatising experience, even though I get the occassional itch, I would avoid using it.  Here is a short description about hydrocortisone cream for eczema….

Hydrocortisone cream (1%) can be purchased without prescription.  It is a topical corticosteroid and is commonly used and known to eczema sufferers. Hydrocortisone is useful for reducing the itchiness of your skin but can only be used for a short period of time only.
